Dysphagia Management - Course Synopsis

Peter Lam , RD, CFE and Robert Miller, PhD, BC-ANCDS

The science and study of swallowing is grounded in research with an increased emphasis on an interdisciplinary team approach to care for patients with dysphagia. This online program aims to bring evidence-based tools and resources to the desks of health professionals who provide care for patients with dysphagia. Interactive quizzes and case scenarios help the learner translate the materials into practical recommendations they can use with their clients and their dysphagia management team. Registered dietitians, speech language pathologist, occupational therapists and registered nurses in LTC settings will find this course relevant to their practice.
