Exciting & inspiring

"Overall, I found the whole conference amazing. It was exciting and inspiring to learn so much valuable information and new research. I thought the application process was valuable because it made me realize right away that this was a different type of event. Everyone had to put effort into the application and really wanted to be there." - Carly Werner, dietitian at the Owen Sound Family Health Team commenting on the 2010 event.

Applicable and tangible

"It was amazing to finally take a course that used research and practically applied that research to our practice. The case studies were wonderfully applicable and tangible. The people presenting actually do research AND work hands-on with athletes in the field, which further substantiates the course. If only ALL workshops could be this way," said Erin Pinder of Lethbridge.

Gave me confidence

"The ISAK course gave me confidence in my technique for assessing body composition by teaching me a clear protocol. I will be able to directly use this with the athletes I work with as well as in my research," said Leanne Dickau of Victoria.
