An eating disorder is a preoccupation with food and weight. Full blown eating disorders, such as anorexia nervosa, can involve emotional, psychological, physical and social problems. The longer someone experiences an eating disorder, the more difficult it is to change. It’s important to get help as quickly as possible. The best place to start is with a visit with a family doctor.
