Nutrition Month – March 2017
Take the fight out of food! Spot the problem. Get the facts. Seek support.
The Nutrition Month 2017 campaign is dedicated to supporting Canadians to end their struggles with food. Every year we choose a campaign theme based on input from members and consumers. The goal of the campaign is to provide information and guidance to make it a little easier for Canadians to sort out common issues.
Dietitians in communities and workplaces across the country are hosted events during March. Dietitians of Canada members will participate and organize events across Canada. Members will have a variety of tools and resources to support their planning including a Resource Manual, bilingual fact sheets, blog posts, tweets to share and a ready-to-go power point presentation.
We encourage community leaders and other health professionals to get involved too. We will be creating an Official Communications Ambassador Toolkit again this year to help support you to actively participate in Nutrition Month 2017.

Once a year, a special day is dedicated to all dietitians across Canada. For 2017, ‘Dietitians Day’ is on March 15.
