The following information briefly describes our research progress to date.

Key Informants. A list of 14 key informants has been developed, and more than half the interviews have been conducted with subsequent transcription and preliminary analysis. The remaining key informant interviews will be completed in September/October.

Literature Review. The literature review prepared for this research project is being revised and will be submitted to the Journal as a “Perspectives in Practice” article.

Focus Groups. Six focus groups will be held in Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, Toronto region, Montreal and Halifax. Arrangements are currently underway with the expectation that all groups will have met by November 2006. A case study on hyperlipidemia, which was developed using non-CFDR funds, will be used to generate discussion within the focus groups.
