You are eligible for a parental leave membership rate reduction if you were previously a member of DC and you are not currently eligible for Student Status AND
- due to full time maternity/parental leave you are currently not working OR
- due to full time maternity/parental leave you will not be working for the majority of the upcoming membership period.
When you go through your membership renewal transaction, you must upload a proof of parental leave which may include a note from your doctor, employer, clinic, or employment insurance office, stating when you are due to go on parental leave for a specified period.
Members on Parental Leave are also eligible to have their liability insurance fee waived.
