I want to pursue Professional Development with Dietitians of Canada.

Please check common questions below to see if your query has already been answered.

  • What do I get with my online course registration?

You obtain a 90-day access to the course, from date of purchase. Courses include readings, multimedia elements (video/ audio/ slide presentations), quizzes, case studies and a final exam. Most courses take between 6 – 8 hours to complete.

If you achieve 80% or better on your final exam, you can download a certificate of completion for the course.

  • How do I register my group of students to an online course?

Only the course coordinator can make a request for a group registration. The group must be a group of students currently enrolled in a formal education program. There is no minimum group size.

The course coordinator must prepare a spreadsheet with each student's first name, last name and email address, in three separate columns, and send this spreadsheet to

Upon enrolment, the course coordinator receives course access instructions that can be disseminated to the group.

An invoice will be sent to the course coordinator after the students have been registered. It is the course coordinator's responsibility to provide payment to Dietitians of Canada.
