I have a technical question about the website.

Please check common questions below to see if your question has already been answered.

  • Where do I login to my member profile?

Login from the link in the masthead at the top of the screen; then click on the arrow to the right of your name and select My Profile from the drop-down menu. Or you can login directly to your Dietitians of Canada profile here: www.dietitians.ca/My-Profile.aspx.

Your username and password are unique to the DC member website. You cannot automatically use them to login to an online course. To find out how to login to your online course, see How do I access my online course? below.

  • I am having trouble logging in to the member website/my member profile.

Enter your email address at the bottom of the login screen under the heading Forgot your password? You will be sent an email message to reset your password. Ensure you check your email spam folder, as well as your email inbox, for this message.

Keep your email address current! Your login is based on the email address on file in your member profile. If you cannot remember the email address on your profile, or if you no longer have access to your email address, contact us.

    1.  DIRECTLY
The direct link is http://courses.dietitians.ca. The login link is found in the upper right of the screen.

    2.  FROM THE DC WEBSITE
Go to the upper right of the screen and login using your DC member or subscriber login codes. Under  Learn > Learning on Demand the link My Library will now appear. allowing you to access the courses you have purchased.

When you click on the course link you will be prompted to login to the course. Your course username is the email address you provided when you signed up for the course. When you first registered you were emailed a temporary password which you replaced with one of your choice. The course login codes may be different from the login codes you use to log into the DC website.

Keep your email address current in both your DC member/subscriber profile and your online course profile (the latter found in the drop-down menu under your name (upper right) in the online course platform.

  • I want to access my online course, but I forgot my username/password!

Your username is the email address you used when registering for your first course. If you do not remember that email address, or if you no longer have access to that email address, contact us.

  • My Learning on Demand (LOD) videos are not playing.

All the videos in Learning on Demand (LOD) are streamed from Vimeo.com. The issue you're experiencing may be related to insufficient or slow bandwidth at your location. Here are a few suggestions:

    1. If you're watching from home, check that multiple users are not downloading videos at the same time.
    2. If you're at work, try watching the videos when there is less traffic on your office network (or seek some advice from your IT group).
    3. Click on "Play", then when the video starts playing, click "Pause" and let more of the video download before playing.
  • My Learning on Demand (LOD) files are not downloading.

Your session may have timed out. Try logging out of the DC website and logging back in again.

  • The Search tool is not showing the information I'm looking for.

The item you are looking for may be available only to members. Log into the DC website with your member account and search again.

  • Contact Customer Service.
