Hot topics in everyday practice

Dietitians are asked nutrition-related questions on a wide variety of matters every day. Clients want the straight goods on topics they are seeing in social media, in advertising or reading about online.

This session profiles knowledgeable speakers on three ‘hot topics’ in the news. They each provide a succinct summary of the issues, the hype, and the practice applications on what is swirling in the media about leaky gut, nutritional genomics and genetically modified foods.
