Think big and make it happen: Driving organizational strategy

Dietitians are well-suited to take greater control over the strategic vision and actions of the organizations they practice in. However, a lack of formal training leads many to feel they lack the business skills necessary to achieve their goals and objectives. To drive change within organizations, dietitians must learn to combine their subject matter expertise with strategic planning and the ability to influence and persuade. This session gives an insider’s look at how two industry dietitians navigate complex work environments to ensure their voices are heard and ideas translated into action. Without reference to any specific organization, they provide proven tips and strategies to empower dietitians to be agents of change within their own organizations.
