Gerry Kasten, 2018 Ryley-Jeffs Memorial Lecturer addresses weight bias, and its intersections with homophobia, racism, misogyny, and inequity. Outcomes of the ongoing obesity discourse will also be presented. In his lecture, Gerry shares a variety of resources for dietitians seeking a new path and highlights some recent successes of leaders who have and are taking action on weight bias in Canada.
