Access Canadian food and nutrition research
Practice-based research is a dietitian's cornerstone of quality dietitian practice. Dietitians of Canada promotes and communicates dietetics research in three ways:
Canadian Journal of Dietetic Research and Practice
The official peer-reviewed publication of Dietitians of Canada provided to all association members. Review abstracts of all articles published since 2002 online and download full articles for a small fee or subscribe to this quarterly publication.
Non-members can view abstracts
Members have full access to current and past issues
CFDR's Research Room
A virtual gathering place for dietetic researchers and those interested in nutrition and dietetic practice research. Connect with potential collaborators or research mentors, and read about published and in progress research.
Canadian Foundation for Dietetic Research (CFDR)
A charitable foundation established by Dietitians of Canada in 1991 to provide grants for research by dietitians. These grants are awarded from a research fund made possible by donations received from Dietitians of Canada and other corporations, dietitians and other individuals, governments and other charitable foundations that are committed to the nutritional wellbeing of Canadians.
