New CEO for Dietitians of Canada

I am pleased to announce that we have identified and hired the next CEO for Dietitians of Canada; a candidate who received unanimous support from the Board of Directors – Alexis Williams.
 
Alexis is a dietitian and senior business leader who most recently served as Senior Director of Wellness at Loblaw Companies Limited.Earlier in her career, Alexis ran her own sports nutrition private practice and worked as a primary care dietitian.Alexis holds a Master of Applied Nutrition and Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph and she is a dedicated member of Dietitians of Canada.
 
With her experience and vision, Alexis will lead DC through the next phase of growth and development.
 
Alexis will begin her role as CEO effective July 5, 2021. In the meantime we look forward to introducing her to members at  DC’s Annual General Meeting on June 22, 2021. Find information and a link to register for the AGM here. As always we invite you to reach out to the Board at any time.
