Dietitians of Canada Announces the Return of Nourish to Flourish for Nutrition Month 2026

Building on last year’s success, this year’s campaign will highlight the impact of dietitians in communities across Canada.

Dietitians of Canada is pleased to announce that Nourish to Flourish will return as the official theme for Nutrition Month 2026. Following the success and engagement of last year’s campaign, DC is excited to build on that momentum and once again celebrate the essential role dietitians play in supporting the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities across Canada.

Last year, Nourish to Flourish sparked national conversations, inspired communities, and showcased the diverse and meaningful ways dietitians influence positive health outcomes. The 2026 campaign will continue this work by shining a spotlight on the profession’s leadership and evidence-based expertise across all stages of life.

“Every day, dietitians nourish lives, empower healthier choices, and help Canadians thrive,” said JP Cody-Cox, Chief Executive Officer of Dietitians of Canada. “Nutrition Month is one of the most powerful moments of the year for our profession. Nourish to Flourish reflects the heart of what dietitians do: support people, communities, and systems with compassion and evidence-based expertise. I’m incredibly proud of the creativity and leadership our members brought to last year’s campaign, and I can’t wait to see how they elevate it once again in 2026.”

Throughout March, the campaign will explore and celebrate the many ways dietitians contribute to healthier communities from supporting chronic disease management and navigating complex health concerns, to guiding community food initiatives and helping families build positive relationships with food. Rooted in the belief that food is more than fuel, Nourish to Flourish highlights how dietitians help people make choices that honour both their health and lived experiences.

To support participation across the country, Dietitians of Canada will provide:

  • A refreshed Nutrition Month toolkit featuring practical resources for outreach and engagement
  • A calendar of networking touch points, including webinars, community discussions, and celebrations throughout March
  • A special cookbook initiative designed to bring together food, stories, and community in a new and meaningful way

More details, materials, and engagement opportunities will be released in the New Year.
