Dietitians of Canada is pleased to announce its new partnership with the Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) for the upcoming Half Your Plate Symposium, taking place on April 30, 2026, at the Metro Convention Centre in Toronto, Ontario
The Half Your Plate Symposium provides dietitians and other health professionals with valuable learning and networking opportunities from leading nutrition and produce industry experts. The event is designed to support conversations and practical insights that help Canadians improve their fruit and vegetables consumption for better health.
The Symposium will be hosted in conjunction with CPMA’s Annual Convention and Trade Show, which takes place April 28-30, 2026, and is part of CPMA’s broader conference programming.
“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to supporting dietitians and health professionals with credible, evidence-informed learning opportunities,” said John-Paul Cody-Cox, CEO, Dietitians of Canada. “By collaborating with CPMA on the Half Your Plate Symposium, we are helping create space for meaningful dialogue that supports healthier eating patterns and a vibrant food system for Canadians.”
CPMA’s Half Your Plate initiative is a nationally recognized program that promotes increased fruit and vegetable consumption through positive, simple messaging and collaboration across sectors.
“We are proud to partner with Dietitians of Canada on the 2026 Half Your Plate Symposium,” said Sue Lewis, Vice President, Marketing & Events, CPMA. “Bringing together dietitians and industry leaders strengthens our collective efforts to encourage Canadians to fill half their plates with fruits and vegetables and support healthier food choices across Canada.”
