Haudenosaunee Food Systems and Stories

Date and Time: June 28, 12 -1 pm ET
Hosted by: The Food and Culinary Network
Speaker: Deyowindron’t (Teri) Morrow

Description:
Join Deyowindron’t (Teri) Morrow, registered dietitian with the Six Nations of the Grand River for a discussion around Haudenosaunee food systems and food as medicine for the body, mind and spirit. We connect in with the roles and responsibilities we carry with our foods and how we pass these roles onto the faces yet to come. How have the Haudenosaunee spiced up their life and recipes for thousands of years and how do we connect culture into those time honoured traditions like a good old fashioned cookbook with Haudenosaunee food stories. We will have time for questions as well.
